These are my three favourite photos off the destroyed gallery because all the images look out of proportion because of the way the photo has been taken. Rankin has focussed on the persons body while his hand are up much closer the camera lense. Also Goldie has done lots of editing to each of the photos to make the even more unique. I also like the way he has made all the images look older by sanding off some of the black of of his cloths.
I like this photo especially because the effects he has used work really well together, he has cut the original photo into strips ( each a different thickness and angle). He has used mostly black and white but has splattered red paint over the image for effect. Goldie has got some spray paint and very lightly sprayed of over to of the corners of his photo.
visual: all of this image is in focus, the photo looks as if it had been taken in a studio due to the control over the lighting. there are some quite domanat lines going through the subject due to the way the photo has been cut up. the photo has a very high contrast and the image is mostly made up of b&w so the very little red and pick he has used proves to be very effective. due to the way the photographer has taken the photo the subjects hands look like they are almost popping out the photo.

Technical: because of the amount of control the photographer had over the lighting I would say it was most likely taken in a studio where he used artificial lighting. I think the photographer had used a relatively quick shutter speed with an iso of 100 for a good quality image.

These are my two practice pieces in these I like the effect the colours had to the hair I could of improved theses by adding a different background and cutting bits of it up and repositioning it. In my final piece I decided to do the same but I cut the background out and stuck it to a black piece of card, I also added my name out of cut up headlines from newspaper and magazines.
My final piece.
www. Name was positioned in a really good place, and I made good use of colour for my hair and the background.
ebi. I could of done more things to make this picture even better, like cutting bits up into different sized strips and repositioning it.
